About the Role

Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and piping systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
  • Test system for leaks using testing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in pipe fitting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
