POSITION: CAPITAL SPECIALIST, location: Alberta, Canada

In the role of Capital Specialist, your primary focus will be on the sales and support of advanced products, including Synergy Vision, PanoScope, Nano Arthroscopy, and our Vision and Matrix Integration systems. You will also oversee the Skytron capital equipment line, which encompasses surgical lights, booms, and operating tables.

Your performance will be measured against annual sales targets established for each fiscal year.

As one of four Regional Specialists nationwide, your contributions will be vital in advancing our Integration and Imaging solutions throughout the Prairies region. This position will require you to collaborate closely with the sales team to develop tailored customer solutions and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders as new platforms are introduced in Canada.

As the Capital Specialist for the Prairies, you will efficiently manage your territory through strategic planning, coordination, and travel across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northern Ontario. You will conduct customer presentations alongside territory Technology Consultants and assist the sales team with inquiries, quotes, meetings, and various initiatives. Furthermore, you will support the sales force by providing product information, conducting customer visits, troubleshooting, promoting new offerings, and facilitating medical educational sessions.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Comprehension and adherence to all operating room and relevant OSHA regulations during product evaluations.
  • Collaboration with both internal teams and external clients as part of a solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and make evidence-based decisions in high-pressure situations, responding swiftly to emerging opportunities or challenges.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • A completed university degree, preferably in a health-related field such as Science or Kinesiology.
  • Experience in healthcare capital equipment sales, ideally within General Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology.
  • A strong process orientation with the capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle are mandatory.
  • An updated passport is required for travel outside the province for customer labs and training programs.
