About the Role

PAPA-GRANT MECHANICAL INC. is seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and equipment in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter.
  • Repair and Service: Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
  • Client Advice: Advise clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems.
  • Design and Planning: Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and isolate faults.
Requirements
  • Certification: Gas Fitter Trade Certification.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of locations, including industrial and commercial settings.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
