POSITION: CAPITAL SPECIALIST, location: Alberta, Canada
In the role of Capital Specialist, your primary focus will be on the sales and support of advanced products, including Synergy Vision, PanoScope, Nano Arthroscopy, and our Vision and Matrix Integration platforms. You will also oversee the Skytron capital equipment range, which encompasses surgical lights, booms, and operating room tables.
Your performance will be measured against annual sales targets established for each fiscal year.
As one of our four Regional Specialists across the nation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Integration and Imaging platforms throughout the Prairies region. This position requires you to collaborate closely with the sales team to develop customer-centric solutions and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders as new products are introduced in Canada.
As the Capital Specialist for the Prairies, you will effectively manage your territory through strategic planning, coordination, and necessary travel across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northern Ontario. You will lead customer presentations alongside territory Technology Consultants and support the sales team with inquiries, quotes, meetings, and various initiatives. Additionally, you will provide essential support to the sales force through product information, customer visits, troubleshooting, promotion of new offerings, nurse training sessions, and medical educational events.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Comprehend and comply with all operating room and relevant OSHA regulations during product evaluations.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal colleagues and external clients as part of a solution-oriented sales approach.
- Exhibit sound judgment and make evidence-based decisions in high-pressure situations, responding swiftly to emerging opportunities or challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A completed university degree, preferably in a health-related field such as Science or Kinesiology.
- Experience in healthcare capital equipment sales, ideally within General Surgery, Urology, and Gynecology.
- A strong process orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are essential.
- An updated passport is necessary, as travel outside the province for customer labs and training programs will be expected.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including base salary, monthly allowances for auto, cell, and parking, fuel reimbursement, commission, bonuses, and additional benefits.
