Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including setting staff work schedules and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • First Aid Certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods.
