Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring that all aspects of the operation run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze financial data to determine labour costs and make recommendations for cost savings.
- Staff Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Planning and Organization: Plan and organize daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and support our staff, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of our inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory is used efficiently.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our workplace is safe and healthy, implementing policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Leadership and Instruction: Provide leadership and instruction to our staff, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their jobs effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager who has a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Language: English
- Transportation: Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding
