Security Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational contracted security services at a high-profile site. The ideal candidate will be an engaging and motivated leader who is innovative and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with security personnel, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure operational excellence and effectiveness.
- Oversee the performance of contracted security services and the airport security program.
- Maintain a knowledge base of civil aviation legislation and changes that affect aviation and airport security.
- Coordinate and oversee security programs, including supply chain management, stock control, prohibited items, and iWATCH.
- Manage and oversee security services personnel, including coaching and corrective action recommendations.
- Attend meetings and working groups to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Work with the Aviation Security Training Manager to develop training modules and create post orders, event management, and emergency response procedures.
- Security-related experience as a security supervisor or security manager with knowledge of electronic security systems.
- Aviation security experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must be able to successfully pass required internal training programs.
- Clearance: Must be able to successfully obtain a Transportation Security Clearance and Transport Canada Secret Clearance.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Minimum of intermediate-level competency with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office.
