Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our daily operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze revenue data to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize our operations.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our staff to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the efficient operation of our daily activities.
  • Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure we have the necessary supplies and materials to operate effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 45 hours per week.
