CASA Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the CASA House program.
The CASA House provides vital support to teenagers facing mental health and addiction challenges. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to help these young residents and their families thrive.
About the Role:You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Your expertise will guide therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.
Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with other professionals involved in the residents' care, ensuring seamless coordination and communication. Your commitment to advocacy will extend to championing the well-being of both children and families within our program.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough mental health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions
- Coordinate case management and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to staff knowledge and advocate for the best interests of children and families
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or nursing
- Minimum two years of clinical experience specializing in child and family mental health
- Current registration with a relevant professional college
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Criminal Records Check
- Child Intervention Check
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification
