About the Role:
CASA Mental Health is a leading provider of mental health services for children, youth, and families. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at CASA House, a program designed to support teens facing mental health and addictions challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy sessions to support the well-being of our young residents and their families.
- Case Management and Coordination: Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.
- Staff Knowledge and Advocacy: Contribute to staff knowledge and best practices in child and family mental health, and advocate for the needs of our clients and their families.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Graduate degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or nursing, with a minimum of two years of clinical practice in child and family mental health.
- Registration and Certification: Current registration with a professional college and valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong knowledge of child and family mental health principles and practices.
