Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food products.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and friendly service, addressing customer complaints, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of 20+ employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to improve their performance.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and other financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and reduce costs.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
