Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Wind Restaurant. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job responsibilities.
    • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Oversee the implementation of operational procedures, including inventory management and cash handling.
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
    • Manage events and catering services, ensuring that all details are coordinated and executed smoothly.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, including prompt seating, ordering, and delivery of food and beverages.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media and advertising campaigns.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience
      • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • Skills
      • Excellent leadership and management skills.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Knowledge of restaurant operations and management principles.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
