ResponsibilitiesThe Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by leading the Gatorade Supply Chain Planning team. This position is tasked with the proactive management of production planning and distribution for Gatorade and similar products, while also supporting the development and training of team members. Effective coordination with manufacturing, warehousing, sales, demand planning, global procurement, suppliers, and logistics is crucial for success in this role. The Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for providing essential supply chain communication to senior management and executives within PepsiCo Beverages Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize systems such as Avail, AP, BO, MRP, and SAP to: Oversee production planning across Canadian manufacturing sites and select locations in the U.S. Manage production and product delivery from Co-Packers or Mixing Centers. Analyze production plans, forecasts, and raw material consumption while managing inventories of both finished goods and raw materials. Ensure accuracy in long-term planning schedules through AP reporting. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Co-Packers, SC Planning, Demand Planning, and various teams across the organization. Ensure timely updates of data to facilitate efficient data flow to planning tools. Conduct daily reviews of out-of-stock situations and future supply levels, identifying root causes and collaborating with teams to mitigate risks. Ensure that products are planned, ordered, and delivered to support innovation launches. Monitor and evaluate project milestones through scorecards. Provide weekly communication regarding network issues, concerns, and orders. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in supply chain management, engineering, or business, though other fields will be considered if business acumen is demonstrated. Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail, capable of integrating data to produce comprehensive outputs. Understanding of the connections between production plans, plant annual operating plans, productivity initiatives, and customer service. Excellent communication and facilitation skills to build and maintain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions and sites, demonstrating flexibility to achieve collective goals. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with supply chain systems, particularly Avail, BO, and SAP, is highly desirable. High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel (including pivot tables and macros) and PowerPoint. Exceptional communication and reporting capabilities.
