Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is integral to managing the comprehensive operations within our warehouse facilities. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including inventory management, safety protocols, and the supervision of warehouse staff. The supervisor will coordinate with external loading services to guarantee precise and timely deliveries while effectively leading and organizing the warehouse team.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires availability on weekends and Mondays, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and performance metrics.
- Assisting in the implementation of new operational processes and providing necessary training.
- Overseeing and mentoring warehouse personnel in assigned areas.
- Maintaining operational targets and objectives throughout training periods.
- Enforcing safety standards and ensuring adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Facilitating effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.
- Participating in annual performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
- Managing yard operations and the flow of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Overseeing the dispatch of products to various facilities.
- Ensuring adherence to operational processes, focusing on damage prevention and timely deliveries.
- Supervising all warehouse staff, including recruitment, scheduling, and professional development.
- Monitoring receiving operations to ensure timely deliveries and effective yard management.
- Managing billing processes related to warehousing services.
- Overseeing payroll and operational functions for warehouse employees.
- Completing end-of-day checklists and reports, ensuring proper shift transitions.
- Addressing disciplinary matters as necessary.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within warehouse operations or a similar field.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and leadership practices.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A college diploma in Business Management or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Supply Chain, Distribution, or Transportation sectors.
