Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within a food service establishment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Conditions: Noisy, hot, and odorous environment typical of food service operations.
  • Setting: Fast food outlets, food service establishments, and on-site customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of staff may range from 1 to 10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
