Key Responsibilities- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Work Environment: This role is set within a restaurant or catering firm.
- Task Management: Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Conduct training for staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain comprehensive records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit operational reports.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Oversee the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish work schedules for staff.
Possession of personal transportation is necessary.
