**Marketing and Communications Coordinator**

The Marketing and Communications will be responsible for writing, designing, and executing on all marketing materials and communication plans for Blue Door, with a focus on supporting the marketing needs of Blue Door’s employment social enterprise Construct. Projects will include writing and creating the bi-weekly newsletters, collecting content, social media support, Blue Door’s On The Way Home podcast, website updates, and media outreach.

**What does a Marketing and Communications Coordinator do?**
- Manage Construct's social media content, engagement, and advertising while promoting growth and attracting new followers and subscribers.
- Track and enhance Blue Door's online presence, monitoring monthly KPIs for social media and website performance.
- Optimize websites and research SEO best practices for Blue Door's online platforms.
- Handle media relations by writing articles, releases, and maintaining contact lists, fostering relationships with community media outlets.
- Support podcast activities, including content creation, promotional materials, and guest scheduling.
- Organize and maintain a content calendar for social media, e-newsletters, and website updates, ensuring engaging and strategic content.
- Uphold brand guidelines, manage Brand Guide and assets, and stay updated on industry trends while promoting agency policies, including harm reduction practices.

**What you bring to the table**
- Post secondary education in marketing and communications, public relations, or related field is an asset.
- 2 years experience in a related field is an asset and advanced knowledge of Microsoft office skills including PowerPoint, access, word, outlook and excel. Experience with additional databases would be an asset.
- Proficient in social media use (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn) and with various marketing platforms and tools including Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Canva, and WordPress is an asset.
- Experience with not-for-profit marketing and fundraising is an asset.

**Salary information: $50,000-$55,000**

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
