More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. Our HR department provides services to all the staff who help make our schools a success.

**Hours of Work**: 35 hrs./week, 7 hrs./day Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Probationary

**Salary Range**: $50,000 to $63,000

**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:
Administering HR changes for all staff;
Create and send internal and external job postings;
Enter and monitor medical leaves;
Create contracts for staff;
Process terminations;
Complete and send required reporting to unions;
Sub Services backup;
Closely work with Payroll to ensure accuracy of information;
Maintain strong, positive relationships with both internal and external contacts;
Need to have a positive, team-oriented, and inclusive mindset;
Other duties, as assigned by HR Manager and/or Associate Superintendent.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
High school diploma supplemented with related post-secondary courses required.

Experience working in an HR department is preferred.

CHRP designation is an asset.

Experience working in Atrieve HR is an asset.

Experience working in a school division is an asset.

Knowledge of Payroll is an asset.

This Exempt position offers a comprehensive benefits package found under Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan.

All new employees to St. Albert Public Schools are required to submit a recent (within 6 months), clear Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of employment.
