Human Resources Generalist

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent.
  • Apply strategic recruitment techniques to meet the demands of high-volume recruiting.
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events to attract top candidates.
  • Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Manage new hire surveys and reporting to track employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Support benefits and leave administration programs to ensure compliance with provincial legislation.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • CPHR designation an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
