**Position Scope**:
The HR Manager is accountable for the management of all aspects of Human Resources within the location(s) including but not limited to recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, health and safety, performance management, training, and development strategies for Creative Landscape Depot Inc. Reporting to the CEO, you will continue to develop and evaluate the company policies, employee relations policies, and procedures. You will provide valuable support for the management team bringing passion and supporting employees throughout their employment journey.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day functions of Human Resources.
- Determine and recommend employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer/employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.
- Collaboratively work with the leadership team on decisions regarding all talent movement, including promotions, voluntary or involuntary job changes, new or replacement hires, and compensation changes.
- Manage payroll and employee expenses.
- Staff scheduling for both locations, managing timekeeping and attendance tracking vacation, lieu, and sick days.
- Manage employee benefits plan.
- Review and revise employee handbook, policies, job descriptions, and employee contracts.
- Conduct exit interviews to collect research on trends and issues; share information with management as needed.
- Maintain Health & Safety Program, WSIB incident reporting as required.
- Monthly and annual HR reporting. Maintain and report on HR metrics to drive value and change as required.
- Chair of the culture committee, company newsletter, and planning annual staff events.
- Chair and plan monthly manager meetings, and coordinate and plan annual manager retreats.
- Purchasing office supplies and overseeing of office and HR budget.
- Other tasks as requested by management or the CEO.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures, a degree or diploma in Human Resources required, with a minimum of two (3) or more years of experience in Human Resources
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of the _Employment Standards Act_ and _Occupational Health & Safety Act_
- Knowledge of workplace violence and harassment policies and protocols
- Knowledge of Payroll controls and practices
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
