**Job Summary**

As a volunteer at the Stick It to Diabetes hockey game, you will play a vital role in educating attendees about Diabetes Canada’s mission and programs, particularly those focused on Type 1 Diabetes in children. Your main responsibility will be to engage with event participants, answer their questions, and provide information about how they can get involved in supporting Diabetes Canada.

**Event Details**

Location: 2510 Scenic Dr S, Lethbridge, AB T1K 7V7

Date: December 6th, 2024

Time: 5:00 PM- 8:30 PM

**Key Responsibilities**
- Arrive early to assist with setting up promotional materials, brochures, banners, and other educational resources.
- Ensure the booth remains organized and fully stocked with materials throughout the event.
- Answer questions about Diabetes Canada’s programs, especially the Diabetes Camp for children.
- Distribute promotional materials, pamphlets, or merchandise to attendees.
- Promote fundraising initiatives taking place at the event, such as raffles and auctions, and guide participants on how they can contribute.
- At the end of the event, assist with packing up materials and ensuring the booth area is clean and organized.

**Skills**
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage informational materials and contact forms.
- Positive attitude, energetic, and committed to providing a great experience for event attendees.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with attendees and providing accurate information.
