This position reports to the VP Operations Innovation and Business Development and is responsible for all operational aspects of contract manufacturing and business development for Arterra Wines Canada. A unique opportunity to drive innovation and growth for Canada’s Largest Winery, the role is responsible for all aspects of contract manufacturing including developing and managing a network of external contract manufacturers and growing Arterra Wines as a contract manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Manufacturing
- Act as the first point of contact for all needs related to Contract Manufacturing operations
- Forecast and manage the day-to-day activities with third party contract manufacturing partners
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure their contract manufacturing needs are covered
- Ensure that all requirements are understood and delivered on-time
- Identify and mitigate the risks, escalate opportunities for improvement on a timely manner
- Seek opportunities on a continuous basis to optimize quality and costs
- Create, negotiate and renew contracts
- For new product launches, lead commissioning, and operational testing/trials coordination and schedule adherence with the contract manufacturing partner

Business Development:
A chance to create and make it your own, the role will be responsible for creating the framework to successfully sell tolling/co-packing services within the Arterra Wines Canada network.
- Work with internal teams to identify capabilities, capacity and opportunity guard rails. Build selling tools to effectively communicate our offering
- Implement internal processes to support seamless customer onboarding and product delivery
- Manage existing customers including business reviews, contract renewals and daily account management
- Develop and administer new customer contracts and contract renewals. Negotiate terms and conditions (i.e. pricing, volume, length, exclusivity arrangements etc) and coordinate with senior management and legal to ensure alignment and implementation.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Project Management, Finance, and Distribution to initiate new business opportunities, resolve issues, and provide optimal customer service.
- Perform administrative and reconciliation duties (pricing, debits, rebates, deductions) in order to ensure timely and accurate customer accounts.

What you bring:

- BA, BComm, or BBA required
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business Operations or related experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Results oriented, self-motivated, driven and disciplined
- Bilingual (French and English) a strong asset
