Katapult Consulting is looking for an intern to help with their financial, administrative, and client facing business planning responsibilities. The responsibilities of the role is two fold and is as follows:
**Bookkeeping**:

- Analyse previous financial statements and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Perform administrative tasks as needed

**Business Analysis**:

- Support internal team and clients in preparing business plans and project plans
- Support the development of reports, and presentations
- Help create financial projections and forecasts
- Conduct research and gather information to support business decision-making processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferable Qualifications:

- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior internship or coursework related to bookkeeping is a plus
- Prior experience with tools such as Xero or Quickbooks
