Job Title: Program Coordinator
Job Overview:
Key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting in overseeing the programming, ensuring the implementation of our core program through observation and mentoring, and day to day operations of the programs.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment.
- Ensuring resources and materials for planning and implementation.
- Providing regular communication to parents through monthly newsletters and daily updates.
- Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assisting the Program Director and supporting the educators.
- Periodically covering educator breaks.
- Participating in professional development initiatives.
- Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start's policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

**Experience**:
- Maintaining accurate records of students' performance and attendance
- Strong Leadership and room Management skills
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Qualification:
- Must possess an Alberta Child Care certification levels 3
- 2 to 5 years of direct childcare experience in Canada is preferable
- Experience in Childcare Leadership role
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of Child Development
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Good leadership & Mentorship skills
- Proficiency in educational technology tools, Computer, great multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic educational setting
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: $24.55-$29.12 per hour
