Service Coordinator

**Position Summary**
The Service Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of the service technician team, providing technical support to customers and internal staff, sourcing and coordinating all the parts and equipment required for each job, and achieving the required company metric’s associated with this role. This role would be suited for service coordinators from automotive/heavy duty industry as well.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To coordinate and schedule service jobs for both shop and field technicians.
- Review customer requirements and determine priority status of requests.
- Assign jobs to service technicians.
- Source and purchase the necessary parts and equipment for each job.
- Prepare service quotes for equipment service.
- Develop a strong technical competency with respect to Chamco products.
- Provide technical support.
- Ensure that Chamco’s work alone policy is followed and that all work is planned to be performed in a safe manner and in accordance with HSE guidelines.
- Work with the sales team and management to further build on Chamco’s reputation as a knowledge based company that provides technically superior service and equipment.
- Work closely with the other departments within the branch to provide any required support.
- Participate in training programs as required.
**Qualifications Required**
- A strong technical background with previous service experience.
- A trade designation or a technical designation(CET, RET).
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- The ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Competent computer skills (MS Office suite of products).
- Team player.
