Office and Event Assistant

Gryphon Development is a real estate development company based in Vancouver, BC. This innovative and fast‐paced company is integrated with in‐house departments executing full project cycles including acquisition, development, construction, sales and marketing and management. As the Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for receiving payments, reviewing sales contracts, recording sales related transactions accordingly.
**Primary Job Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
- Provide administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing documents.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing company events, ensuring all logístical aspects are well-coordinated.
- Greet and assist visitors, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
- Assist in data entry and record keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and task completion.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Help manage and update social media platforms and company website.
- Perform general clerical tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and sorting mail.
- Support the office with various tasks to ensure a productive and organized work environment.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must have **Class 5 driver’s license**.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with **fluency** in **English** and **Chinese** (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certification is a plus.
- Prior administrative or office assistant experience is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail..
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and website management.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Event planning or coordination experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of the local area and community is advantageous.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
