Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Generate and follow up on RFQ's, work closely with sales and purchasing & quality teams
- Weekly inventory, incoming mill order and customer demand forecast review of all active part numbers and request buyers place supporting mill inventory replenishment orders
- Enter, access, and work through full order process
- Assist Outside Sales in obtaining customer forecasts as needed
- Work directly vendors on expedites, delivery and quality issues, first article inspection requirements, drawing and spec revisions to customer part numbers/master data files
- Manage production orders and subcontracting across multiple vendors and CBS branches
- Manage customer specific inventories as needed
- Satisfy customer service issues
- Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures
- Back up Sales Support - daily Manufacturing Order entries
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Requirements:_
- _Certificate or degree in related field/relevant customer service experience_
- Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and effective listening skills
- Preferred Requirements:_
- 2 - 3 years sales experience
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP system
