**What you’ll do**:

- Under the Engineering Manager’s direct supervision, the Technical Specialist provides support to the Engineering and operations departments. Additionally, the individual will provide technical support to sales representatives to assist sales efforts.
- Manage all aspects of the technical relationship with customers, collaborating with other internal teams as needed.
- Provide high level of technical support and direction for customers, as well as sales personnel, and assists in building customer relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Provide technical leadership in customer meetings, including preparing technical supporting materials, presenting and explaining service capabilities, developing solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Develop proposals and prepare quotes based upon client needs, specifications, and service offerings.

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide support to the Engineering department, as well as technical support to sales representatives to assist in sales efforts.
- Provide input on technical aspects for RFI/RFP responses. Must be able to analyze and understand the customer’s business problem and independently develop a proposal that articulates the features and benefits of working with IHES as a solution provider.
- Live monitoring of ongoing operations and making timely informed decisions during fracturing operations. This requires flexibility of work schedule for 24/7 ongoing operations.
- Facilitate post project reviews and post bid reviews.
- Responsible to provide thought leadership as it pertains to the technical aspects of proposed solutions for each individual customer.
- Identify and build relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, creating an on-going relationship strategy, cultivating partnering relationships, and establishing IHES as a trusted advisor.
- Resolve operational concerns and issues with the customer as the single point of contact.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Sales departments to improve customer solutions and operational feedback.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Education in a relevant field (i.e. Engineering, Technologist), or equivalent technical experience. Minimum five years’ experience preferred, pressure pumping experience considered an asset, including familiarity with standard industry practices, software, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical solutions to assist in closing sales.
- Must be a highly accountable self-starter with good organizational and analytical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and/or exceed assigned targets and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Competitive and entrepreneurial mindset with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
