Uzima Women Relief Group International is a Charitable organization incorporated in Ontario with a mandate to support families and communities affected by poverty, war and disease domestically and internationally. Uzima conducts many projects for women, seniors, and youth within marginalized communities in Toronto in partnership with other agencies.

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an experienced Administration and Human Resource Manager to supervise daily support operations of our organization and plan the most efficient administrative procedures. You will lead a team of professionals to complete a range of administrative duties in different departments. Additionally, you will conduct HR administration, recruitment and maintain strong employee relations and management.

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in office administration or business administration and human resources - More than 3 years of previous administrative experience or experience working in an office setting
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, communication, interpersonal skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent at planning and monitoring administrative systems
- Exceptional ability to pay attention to detail and a team player
- Proficient in MS Office (latest versions) with a typing speed of over 80 words per minute
- Well-versed in departmental procedures and policies and able to actively discover new ways to do the job more efficiently
- Good accounting skills

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support management team: Executive Director and Program manager etc
- Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations maintaining high degree of professionalism
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
- Recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space
- Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the organization to facilitate other business operations
- Manage schedules and deadlines
- Monitor inventory of office supplies, equipment and furniture and the purchasing of new materials and items with attention to budgetary constraints
- Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation - working closely with management and accounting staff
- Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and consultants/contractors
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments
- Oversee all aspects of human resources management by ensuring effective implementation of procedures and policies regarding new hires, transfers, promotions, retention, compensation planning, grievance process, leaves of absence, and terminations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
