In our Volunteer Services department as we work together to deliver compassionate and respectful care to our patients, families and visitors.
Under the direction of the Director, Volunteer Services, the **Weekend Coordinator, Volunteer Services **is responsible for acting as the first point of contact and providing on site support for weekend volunteers.

**Hours of work**:Days - every Saturday and Sunday

**Responsibilities**:
***Provide support and act as a resource to all weekend volunteers, including the Information Desk volunteers
- Monitor daily attendance to ensure appropriate coverage
- Provide weekend report and update for the Volunteer Services team on issues
- Provide administration support for orientation, training and events
**Requirements**:
- Successful completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
- 1-2 years experience in a leadership role
- Volunteer experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster relationships with volunteers
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Health care experience preferred.
