We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents,
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist in organizing meetings and events
- Provide administrative support to other team members as needed
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar)
- Experience working with QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic operations and receptionist duties is beneficial
**Skills**:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
