**Human Resource Generalist**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our leadership team.

Operating as a non-profit society since 1977, Etana is an accredited agency providing services to adults with developmental disabilities. We work with individuals in the city of Red Deer and area, with our office located in Red Deer.

The HR Generalist reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role supports the organization's mission by ensuring a positive and productive work environment, managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and other HR functions.

**Qualifications**
- Preference will be given to bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP designation or enrollment in the CHRP is required
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HR information software and Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

**Key Responsibilities,**
- Onboarding and Offboarding
- Employee Documentation and Certification - Manage employee records and all other HR documentation.
- Employee Relations and Culture Building - Serve as a resource for employees, addressing HR-related questions and concerns, while promoting a positive organizational workplace culture.
- Compliance and Policy Administration - Ensure compliance with all HR related legal and regulatory obligations
- General HR Support - Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies.

Pay: $55,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
