Our team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager, to build and grow our Fire Protection services offerings in British Columbia.

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Professional to grow and drive service-related solution selling in the target market within our inspections, service projects and special hazards lines. As the face of Levitt-Safety, you will be focused on championing the strategic growth of Levitt-Safety’s service department with a focus on developing new relationships with property managers, end-users and building owners, along with electrical/mechanical and sprinkler contractors. Working collaboratively with the sales teams and service teams, you will be the Face of Levitt-Safety for this critical area of our business.
This is a highly strategic role that will require a high degree of planning, customer relationship building and long-cycle solutions selling.

Main Responsibilities
- Consistently and proactively seek new sales opportunities on services and related products, such as fire protection and suppression products. With a strong drive to deliver results, you will follow your leads through the sales process from prospecting to closing, and after-sale support.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and prospects through ongoing industry awareness, networking and a thorough understanding of our market and our customers’ core business needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the services offered by Levitt-Safety Ltd. Through participation and communication with the Service team, to leverage knowledge and increase net new sales.
- As part of any business development role, your participation in sales meetings, training, trade shows, conferences and webinars will be critical to your role, as will timely completion of sales reports, expense reports and lead reports, using Salesforce and ISM for quoting, lead tracking and reporting.

Skills & Experience
- An exceptional passion and drive for solution and relationship-based selling
- 3 to 5 years of proven success in a fire protection industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to deliver presentations & facilitate meetings.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience working with CRM solutions is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to engage a cross-functional team
- Ability to travel frequently within and outside of the territory (valid driver’s license, valid passport, your own reliable transportation, and a good driving record - in line with our exceptional safety record)
