You'll note there are 3 positions available throughout the Economic Development Division, each supporting a different branch. In these dynamic and multi-faceted positions, you will provide a range of coordination and administrative support services to the Directors and branch staff.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:
- provide a variety of executive and administrative support services to the Director (e.g. managing schedules, flagging priority items, issues management, tracking correspondence and approvals, managing supplies and equipment, proofreading materials)
- serve as a liaison with senior management offices and other areas of the ministry
- track a wide range of deliverables for the branch
- coordinate branch planning and reporting activities, priority setting, communications, and team meetings
- manage, monitor and track branch finances,
- support recruitment, human resources administration and tracking
- coordinate branch supplies, equipment and expenses
**How do I qualify?**:
**Executive office administration skills**:
- You have experience providing a variety of executive administrative support services such as schedule management, records management, supporting events/accommodations/meetings and processing invoices.
- You have knowledge of business operational functions: business planning, human resources administration, budget tracking and forecasting, issues management, business continuity and emergency planning.
**Judgement and analytical skills**:
- You have judgement and discretion to identify items and issues requiring immediate attention.
- You have analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze information, identify operational issues and develop value-added recommendations.
- You have judgement and evaluative skills to make independent decisions and handle confidential matters with discretion.
**Communication and customer service skills**:
- You can provide group leadership to other administrative staff and work effectively in a team environment.
- You have written communication to compose, proofread and edit a variety of materials including business cases, briefing notes, reports, submissions and presentations.
- You have well developed communication and customer service skills to work harmoniously with senior level management, colleagues and the public.
**Organizational and coordination skills**:
- You have proven organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks with competing demands and priorities.
- You have coordination skills and can work with mínimal supervision to take initiative and manage the flow of information and materials through the branch.
**Proficiency with common office equipment and computer software**:
- You can determine appropriate formats and present/prepare documents such as reports, submissions, statistics, graphics, presentations, briefings and correspondence
- You have proven experience working with office equipment such as a printer/scanner, cellphone and standard computer/laptop configurations and video conferencing
