Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

Job Description

The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of information between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Perform data entry tasks
  • Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses, and other staff
  • Arrange for billing services
  • Store, update, and maintain databases

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer and technology knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
