Roes-Zehr Electric Ltd is a dedicated and fast-growing team of professionals experienced in various types of electrical contracting (Residential, Commercial, Industrial).

We are currently searching for an Administrative Assistant (Accounting) to support our everyday business operations at our Office located just outside of Woodstock (North end).

**As an integral member of our team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;**
- **Managing Accounts Payable**:_
- Record transactions (invoices, credit cards payments etc.) into our accounting software
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist with month end close
- **Managing Accounts Receivable**:_
- Create and send out monthly statements
- Follow up with customers on overdue accounts
- **Supporting Project Management Team**:_
- Assist with project estimating (create project take offs, send out rfqs etc.)
- Support project start up process (assist in awarding PO’s, gather start up documents etc.)
- Help facilitate project operations (price out & order material, navigate shipping and receiving etc.)
- **Assisting with any other administrative and office support activities to facilitate efficient operations**_

**Who we are looking for**:

- Post-secondary education in Office Administration/Bookkeeping/Accounting or related education and/or experience
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
- Experience in the Construction industry is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office excel and word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Understanding and adhering to confidentiality

**Job Types**: Part time (20 hours/week with the potential to expand hours), Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
