IT Help Desk Support

**The Role**: Your main focus will be technical support for both internal employees and external clinical sites interfacing with NeuroRx systems. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable with customer service as they are with Linux and MacOS computer operation. Work with our well documented runbooks to perform routine tasks to help our users and put on your problem-solving hat to help us recognize gaps and improve our IT service as well as automate those routine tasks. This is a role in which you will work closely with other talented IT professionals who can help you grow your skillset and advance your career with plenty of room for advancement in the company.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Installing and maintaining software and hardware on MacOS and Linux workstations.
- Maintaining and improving internal documentation and runbooks.
- Managing user accounts
- Managing backups
- On-site data center maintenance
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education or certification in a technical field or related work experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux and Mac operating systems
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Basic Understanding of the following protocols (SSH/SFTP, HTTPS, NFS)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
**Bonus Assets**:
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Jamf Pro
- Experience with shell scripting
- Experience with Ansible (or other configuration management software)
- Experience with open source software and tools
