Yellow Dog Beverage Company Family is looking for an enthusiastic person to add to our accounting team As a key contributor to our organization, the Finance and Administration Specialist will have a background in bookkeeping and accounting, be familiar with regulatory filings, able to assist in record management, thrive in a fast-paced workplace, effectively manage tight deadlines, and be flexible in adapting to changing needs required. **Individual Job Responsibilities**:
**Finance**:

- Use accounting software to perform the bookkeeping of all related companies.
- A/P
- Enter and pay supplier invoices
- Ensuring invoices are billed correctly
- Communicating to vendors on issues or delays.
- Gaining approval from management and senior leadership for all related companies through our weekly process.
- A/R
- Issue invoices to customers and ensure receivables are collected for goods and or services not related to the sales of beer.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards for all related companies.
- Managing credit cards, bill payments, deposits, and withdrawals for all related companies.
- Create and use spreadsheets and other tools to report on information and issues relating to the accounting and bookkeeping of related companies.
- Support the gathering of information for financial statements, financial reporting, and audits.
- Manage intercompany invoicing and transfers of funds for all related companies.
- Conduct additional accounting and support duties as required.

**Administration**:

- Regulatory filings with applicable governing bodies including Government of Canada and BC Provincial Government.
- Weekly batching and reporting to BC Liquor Distribution Board for all companies and liaising with LDB Consultants.
- Organization and collection of invoices and receipts for purchases done for all related companies within our online system. Includes managing information inputted into the system.
- Collecting and Maintaining cash float for Yellow Dog Brewing Tasting Room.
- Support Senior Leadership with administrative support for administration tasks on a needed basis.

**General**:

- Be an advocate for YDBC culture and embody passion for the brand.
- Work with urgency to ensure our processes and tasks are followed and completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with special projects as directed by management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
