Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant (80%/20%) to help organize our fast-paced office & provide bookkeeping for our clients.
The Administrative Assistant (20% of the role)
The Bookkeeper (80% of the role)
Work directly with 10-20 clients providing the following services:
- Monthly bookkeeping (Quickbooks Online/Quickbooks Desktop)
- Payroll (Bi-Weekly) (Quickbooks Online/Quickbooks Desktop)
- HST preparation & Filing (Monthly)
BONUS
- Tax preparation experience (Profile)
- Financial Statement preparation Experience (Excel)
- Experience using Quickbooks Online/Desktop
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Mainly Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A base knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in a fast pace environment, including deadlines
- Tax preparation experience or knowledge
This is a hybrid position We deal with most of our clients virtually. Therefore once you are comfortable in your role, you will be able to work from home with a company provided laptop
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON
