**THE POSITION**:
The
**Office Administrative Assistant/General Book Keeper** role is responsible for providing front office support to the School Administration and Accounting Teams.
- Full-time - Monday to Friday (8 AM - 4 PM).
- Benefits available after successful completion of a probationary period include Extended group health, dental and medical benefits, RRSP group plan, sick/personal and discretionary days, vacation time & stat holidays, maternity leave top-up after a set employment period, etc.
- Start date: immediately.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- General bookkeeping activities (working to support our School Accountant).
- Entering new employee information into our SIS system.
- Entering new student registration information onto our SIS system.
- Office Support - filing, data entry, etc.
- Performa other office duties as assigned.

**EXPERIENCE and SKILLS**:

- Work experience in an educational environment is preferable.
- Comfort working with technology such as the Google Suite of products, SIS systems (EDSEMBLI is our in-house platform), Excel (spreadsheet manipulation), and Word. This includes a willingness to learn on and about a variety of other tech-based systems.
- Ability to manage the workload independently and to ask questions for clarification.
- Excellent people skills; ability to deal with a range of stakeholders from parents, students, teachers, administrators, professional partners, and outside organizations.
- Strong organizational skills are essential - an ability to prioritize and multi-task is a must.
- Entry-level bookkeeping skills are an asset.
- French and/or 2nd language capabilities are a benefit.
- Willingness to grow in the role.
