Manager, Marketing Optimization

As lead will build customer focused foundational learnings to inform internal stakeholders on strategy and approach to drive trip frequency, basket growth and incentive plans. - Drive optimization of annual spend across channels and within Digital with customer office leadership team through simulations, scenario planning, sensitivity and trade off analysis Drive incremental ROI and marketing optimization across and within marketing channels, through ongoing reporting, recommendations and ad hoc analysis that identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through Marketing Media Mix, agency attribution and measurement models and a robust test and learn agenda
- Drive optimization of annual spend across channels and within Digital with customer office leadership team through simulations, scenario planning, sensitivity and trade off analysis
- Drive ongoing alignment, action and results, in weekly and monthly forums amongst Marketing leadership teams, by transforming data to insights/implication and facilitating alignment on actions based on objective/ action standards.
- Strategic partner in accelerating business growth, providing Insights and analytics, identifying areas of opportunity to drive reach, frequency and increased order value.
- Identify key areas of opportunity that integrate / drive the optimization of the marketing strategy leveraging propensity models and advanced analytical models.
- Cementing annual learnings / guiding principles embedding them into workflow to drive continuous improvement/ learning mindset amongst internal client teams.
- Manage the structure and outcome of various analytics reports, competitive tracking and ad-hoc analyses, integrating with other available data from the Marcom, Consumer Insights and Walmart.ca teams to present a holistic view of performance, trends, and results to improve effectiveness and meet business objectives.
- Support strategic annual planning initiatives, providing analytics guidance, detailed traffic and conversion forecasting by channel, and assessments of performance.
- Manage all aspects of advertising performance measurement and effectiveness, including pre testing and in market tracking
- Day to day management of key agency partners for MMM and Ad Tracking; including setting up quarterly reviews to ensure ongoing dialogue and continuous improvement
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3+ year MMM experience
- Strong data analytics and ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Previous experience with advertising performance measurement, including pre and post
- Previous experience managing research partners
- Client side experience preferred
- Strong communication skill and proven ability to influence cross functional stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paces environment, managing multiple projects and priorities
