**What you do**:
As a key member of the Marketing team, the **Manager, Pricing & Revenue Optimization** is responsible for managing Boston Pizza's strategic pricing and value offering processes to engineer maximized Menu sales and profitability. This individual would partner with third-party consultancies and vendors to ensure pricing and value offering recommendations are based in facts, data, and best in-class analysis both for the short and long. This will involve working with restaurant operators to develop and communicate the optimal pricing and value offering strategy and programs. This individual would be also expected to work cross functionally with Menu Mix, Analytics, Operations, and the broader marketing team to identify pricing & value initiatives or revenue management tactics to improve overall business performance at the restaurant level.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Manage and lead the bi-annual menu pricing process; including pricing recommendation on new products or LTO products/offers.
- Manage and lead the ongoing evaluation process of value offerings for both Main Menu as well as core National Promotion programs.
- Report on pricing results based on recommended pricing actions and impact on revenue and profitability.
- Work with pricing consultancy to define strategy, methodology, and pricing models for both the food and beverage portfolio. Liaise between pricing consultancy and restaurant operators.
- Work with consultants identify price/revenue opportunities to increase revenue.
- Conduct research or statistical analysis as required to identify new pricing or menu initiatives and opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Monitor pricing guardrails to ensure effective implementation.
- Manage restaurant groupings, to ensure restaurant pricing optimization.
- Monitor and maintain competitor and market trend data to identify insights (gaps, risks)
- Monitor and report on geographical or economic factors likely to impact pricing and profitability.
- Engage stakeholders as part of the pricing process to ensure buy-in.
- Resolve pricing issues and assist in supporting stores to resolve such issues.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on pricing and menu inquiries.
**Who you are**:
- You have a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline.
- You have 3-5 years of Business or Marketing experience.
- You may have specific knowledge of Category Management functions and or pricing principles (strongly preferred)
- You have a strong data mining and analytical skills and can translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- You may understand the industry and its competitive environment.
- You have advanced expertise in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- You are a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- You are detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- You have strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
