**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the designated Director, Central Zone MHAP, the Administrative Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Central Zone management team.

This position is responsible for the provision of administrative support to the CZ MHAP managers, various special projects, working groups and/or committees. The position acts as manager’s delegate, and submits requests in SAP and MAP. In addition, collaborates with respective managers to coordinate clerical support at designated service sites and support internal administrative operations of the services. This position works closely with the Administrative Assistants to the CZ Directors, MHAP.

The Administrative Assistant ensures that the principles and practices that guide NSHA such as the vision, mission, values, expected behaviors, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and inter professional collaboration are integrated within the support that is provided by the work that they do and through the messages they deliver.

**About You**:

- Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program
- Undergraduate degree is an asset
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders
- International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills are required.
- Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies
- Experience utilizing technology in meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Competencies in other languages as asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent Full Time position; 75 hours biweekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$22.31 - $27.88 hourly
