Job Title: Revenue Manager
Hotel: DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Downtown
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Strategy and Planning:
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive revenue strategies to drive hotel revenue growth and optimize profitability.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor data to stay informed about market trends and adjust revenue strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, other department heads, and Hilton's revenue management team to align revenue strategies with hotel goals and brand initiatives.
2. Revenue Management and Analysis:
- Analyze hotel revenue performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and adjust room rates, occupancy, and RevPAR to optimize revenue.
- Develop and maintain reports to track revenue performance and provide insights for future strategy development.
3. Room Inventory Management:
- Oversee room inventory management to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Ensure accurate room availability and rate information is maintained across all distribution channels.
4. Group and Catering Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize group and catering revenue.
- Provide revenue guidance and support to ensure profitable group and catering business.
5. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing revenue management team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate revenue strategies, results, and insights to hotel staff, management, and Hilton's revenue management team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective implementation of revenue strategies.
7. System Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date information in the hotel's revenue management system.
- Generate reports to track revenue performance and provide insights for future strategy development.
**Requirements**:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of revenue management experience in a hotel environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Hilton brand experience with knowledge of GRO, R&I and OnQ will be preferred
2. Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient in revenue management systems, such as Hilton's OnQ Revenue Management System.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, sales, and catering.
