Administrative Assistant - 6 Month Term
BDR Services Ltd. in Winnipeg specializes in the Supply, Installation, Maintenance, Inspection, Testing and Repair of Automatic Sprinkler Fire Protection Systems. Established in 1986, BDR is a Manitoba based company with offices located in Winnipeg and Brandon. For the past 36 years, BDR has demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment in performing high quality workmanship and providing excellent service to customers.
BDR Services Ltd. is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 6 Month term in our Winnipeg Office. This position may extend to full time depending on operational requirements.
- Processing large amounts of data within various business processes
- Working with Project Managers and Coordinator as required
- Updating Monthly Statements
- Physical and Digital filing
- Various Projects as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years general office experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including ability to produce tables and perform calculations and automation to process data
- Aptitude to learning new software programs
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Work in fast paced environment
- Proactive in collaborating with others, streamlining processes ensuring efficiencies across the business where applicable
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of Computerized Accounting Systems, considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective customer service skills
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in completion of tasks
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Valid Driver’s License
