**Position Summary**

Magellan Aerospace, Winnipeg has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Administrative Assistant at our Manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, MB. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties such as document processing, record keeping, and preparation of presentations or reports.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Prepares and/or processes job specific documents.
- Prepares and/or assembles presentations and/or proposals.
- Drafts correspondence requiring broader knowledge of protocols, systems, procedures and processes for review and approval.
- Supports computer transactions inherent to the business system that facilitate customer order processing such as data entry, shipment maintenance and invoicing to established customers.
- Uses knowledge of systems or procedures to provide guidance to assist others and, when necessary, trains others in use of tools.
- Regularly works with employees and/or outside contacts on items that require analysis and good judgment in order to complete administrative responsibilities assigned.
- Inputs information into database or other systems and ensures that records are maintained as required.
- Books travel and completes expense reports.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks such as filing, completing paperwork, scheduling meetings, answering general questions, and following up with employees.

**Position Requirements**
- High School education or equivalent level is required.
- Post-secondary education in Administrative studies or certification in Business Administration or Project Management will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of two (2) years of prior administrative experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with standard office equipment and software (i.e. Microsoft Office, etc ).
- Strong planning, book keeping, organization and follow-up skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
