**Role overview**:
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the daily administrative tasks of the company, ensuring smooth business operations, and supporting the team to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Toronto office.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- You will ensure the employee workplace experience is seamless and top tier. This includes managing the office daily operations, keeping a clean and organized workplace, and developing and executing in-person engagement activities.
- Understand the importance of a fast paced office space by proactively ordering and maintaining all office supplies and address any office related requests
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment, including set-up of new-hire equipment
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including catering and security services
- Support the overall Employee Experience team strategy to create a world class experience for our employees. This includes assisting HR with onboarding new hires, researching and implementing new tools
- Spearheading and planning in-office events or off-site activities
- Liaise with financial manager to track and deposit cheques and upload invoices
- Maintain equipment, records, documentation, and sensitive files
- Be the navigator for new and existing employees as they explore our hybrid office space in Toronto.
- Member of Joint Health & Safety Committee and all Health & Safety efforts

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of Office Manager responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. printers and laptops)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
