**OVERVIEW**
**CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or Business Administration is preferred
- Demonstrated technical writing ability
- Strong command of the English language including but not limited to excellent writing, grammar, spelling, and formatting
- Attention to detail and experience preparing well-designed, error-free documents
- Thorough and diligent in adhering to process
- Ability to prioritize and work in tight deadlines
- Demonstrated self-motivation, communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience in preparing proposals is an asset
- 1-2 years of previous experience in the consulting, oil and gas or environment industries is an asset
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop technical proposal documents, responding to client RFP and RFQ documents working with technical experts to understand client expectation and internal capabilities to develop winning proposals
- Writer on technical proposal documents, compiling information, engaging experts and assisting Proposal Specialist on proposal creation
- Ensure work and proposals are developed in a timely and accurate manner work with project managers to prioritize appropriate report and create documents such that customer deadlines are achieved
- Manage the development of proposal components on an ongoing basis including:
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
- Technical Resumes
- Project Examples & Case Studies
- Biographies
- Create auxiliary resources such as diagrams or interactive learning processes if required
- Gather information and support professionals to fill known gaps in information within the proposal development to allow for the efficient creation of documents
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development team where necessary

- This position will be based out of our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.
