IAG is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, positive, self-motivated team member who is looking to embark on an exciting career as **Payroll Coordinator**.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, honest, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong desire to succeed.

**Job Duties**:

- Work in conjunction with Payroll Manager Resources in the processing of new hires, rehires, transfers, terminations, employee benefits, etc.
- Provide advice to employees as it relates to payroll scheduling and attendance tracking
- Monitor weekly time entry processes, validate, review hours from timesheets
- Assist with year-end reconciliation audit including the production of T4's
- Support the department with review and maintenance of operational processes
- Data management and generate month-end reports as required
- Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy
- Completion of record of employment (ROE) reports
- Submission of WSIB wages and payment.
- Prepare Canadian payroll journal entries
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll laws
- Administering bonuses and special payments
- Additional projects as requested by management
- 2+ years of payroll experience in a high paced environment
- Experience processing multi provincial payroll
- Direct working experience with benefits providers employee insurance and STD/LTD administration
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and Ontario employment laws and standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Automotive Experience is an asset
