**Office Manager (Part-time)**
**Location: Etobicoke, Ontario**

**About GWN**: Dragon boat racing is the fastest growing water sport in the world. Helping to drive that expansion in North America is Great White North (GWN) Dragon Boat, the continent’s largest, full-service dragon boat racing company.

Each year, GWN produces more than 40 events across North America including watersports and running. GWN offers start-to-finish event management services, and corporate team-building experiences.

As GWN continues to grow our portfolio of events, we are looking for a part-time office manager to add to our team.

The core responsibility of this position is to work with senior management team to ensure the continued smooth operation of our workplace.

**Key Responsibilities**:
General Office Administration:

- Provide front-line service to clients, suppliers, and the general public visiting the office
- Internet and phone system management
- Monitor, order and maintain inventory levels for stationary, office/warehouse supplies and office equipment maintenance
- Manage office cleanliness including kitchen
- Oversee submission and approval of staff timesheets, invoices and expenses to

GWN in a timely manner
- Create expense reports and track/manage receipts for senior management
- Contribute to the improvement and success of GWN by developing more effective methods of delivery that lead to enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Contribute to increased company product volume, sale revenues, profits and productivity
- Assist with general business support and other duties as required

Account Management:

- Assist in order placement, invoicing, proof approvals, and shipping of GWN

Promotions orders

Shipping and Receiving:

- Receiving mail and distributing it (letters, courier packages)
- Fulfillment & shipping GWN Pro Shop orders

Travel:

- Coordinate travel arrangements for office and contract staff as required

Accounting:

- Accounts Payables & Receivables (preparing invoices and collections)
- Staff invoicing and expenses: o Ensure correct amounts o Ensure consistency with GWN policies o Submit documentation for payment and re-bill processing

**Required Experience & Skills**:

- Must be able to work in-office two days a week
- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service/Reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and experience working with suppliers and clients
- Must be detailed oriented
- Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure/stressful conditions and to meet multiple and competing deadlines
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Quickbooks and/or other accounting programs/software i.e. Dext are definitely assets

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
